Check out the Shadow Art Fair tomorrow, December 1st, the Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti.

The event takes place from from noon to midnight, and promises: one day, 40+ artists, and 9,000 gallons of beer! It’s a great place to pick up some handmade works — and some unique holiday gifts.

The original Shadow Art Fair took place in July 2006 when The Michigan Design Militia, a group of five, pulled together over 30 friends and colleagues, presenting them with the idea to have a group art exhibit/design fair. The original fair acted as a “test run” to see whether there was community interest in and whether the Michigan Design Militia was capable of pulling off such an event.
