Grazing on groceries

Last night’s errand running brought us to Costco, among other places. Costco might not be the best place to go when you’ve been out all day and hungry. But Costco is the place you want to go on a Friday night when you want to go grazing. The friendly sample people were staked out at various aisles in the food section, displaying their wares and talking them up. We tried the hummus and pita chips (yum), prosciutto (double yum), vitamin water (a nice way to wash down those samples), and crab cakes (really delicious but pricey) before completely ruining our appetites for dinner. But it was well worth it, and didn’t stop us from pulling in to Starbucks on the way home for a quick caffeine fix.
