Eleven communities on the historic East Riverfront are opening their doors to showcase home-buying opportunities this weekend. “Living in the V” is a real-estate open house that will take place 1-5 p.m. Sept. 30. The Villages (The “V”) are “a unique collection of Detroit East Riverfront communities — each with authentic personality and charm.” Dubbed a diverse, walkable, urban community, it includes historic neighborhoods, high-rise condos, trendy lofts and new-construction homes.

Presentations will be given every half hour at welcome center within Parkstone Apartments, 1415 Parker, Detroit. Housing prices range from less than $100,000 to over a million.
