Monarch migration


From now through mid-October is the prime time to watch the migration of monarch butterflies and other creatures from lookout points at Pointe Pelee National Park in Canada.Exact times depend on the weather and wind, but now is the time when you’re most likely to observe them.

On weekends from Sept. 8-30, the park offers migration hikes at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. The cost is $14.85 per person and free for children 5 and younger. More information (866) 787-3533.
