Make your weekend plans now to attend Oktoberfest in Frankenmuth. Known to some as “Michigan’s Little Bavaria,” Frankenmuth has been hosting Oktoberfest since 1990. This year’s celebration runs Sept. 20-23.

While you’re there, make sure to stop by and cheer your favorite pooch at the Wiener Dog Race, which will take place Saturday at the Harvey Kern Pavillion in Frankenmuth’s Heritage Park.
