One sure sign of fall for me is when the Dexter Cider Mill is opens. The oldest continuously operating cider mill in Michigan, they use a blend of locally grown apples to make cider, and also offer delicious donuts, apple pie, apple turnovers, apple nut bread, apple strudel, apple butter … well, you get the idea. It’s well worth the drive.
