Who knew?

According to the PB&J Campaign, the classic lunchbox staple will save the equivalent of 2.5 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions when it’s chosen instead of an average animal-based lunch like a hamburger, a tuna sandwich, grilled cheese, or chicken nuggets.

Somehow I don’t think those gourmet PB&J restaurants qualify, like the one I saw at DTW (and why would anyone buy a PB&J, anyway?). But it’s an easy way to go green, and save some green in the process. ;-)
